Question  17-Death in the Millennium?
If the Reader is a Pre-Trib Pastor, you know that promoters of Pre-Trib have some difficulty with this question. Some say that no deaths will occur because Satan is in his Bottomless Pit and cannot cause sickness and death. Pre-Trib says there may be some evil people die, but most say that all righteous persons will remain alive during the entire thousand years. However, in Ezekiel's prophecy about a Temple, he mentions that when a Priest dies, his widow has certain restriction as to who she can marry after his death. Pre-Trib is very adamant that the Temple Ezekiel was shown in vision will be Christ's Temple in Jerusalem during a Millennial Kingdom in which, says Pre-Trib, Jesus will rule over this Kingdom filled with mortals. Ezekiel 44:22 explains the restrictions concerning the Priest's marriage during the time of the Temple he was shown in vision: "Neither shall they (Priests) take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away (divorced), but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a Priest before." Obviously during whatever time Ezekiel's Temple was to be in service, Priests and Priest's wives would be subject to death and some would die.

Rather than taking time and space here to examine all of the Bible verses that would need to be revised, reversed, or rejected in order to explain how there can be saved people dying after Christ's Second Coming, let's simply look at what Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church concerning the coming, "Kingdom of God."  He wrote, "Flesh and Blood (Mortals) CANNOT inherit the Kingdom of God" (1Corn.15:50). Paul says there'll be NO mortals in the Kingdom of God, saved or un-saved. Again, changing the name of the Kingdom of God to, "The Millennial Kingdom," does not annul what Paul said about mortals not inheriting it. Immediately after writing about, "Flesh and Blood NOT  inheriting the Kingdom of God," Paul wrote a prophecy that Pre-Trib emphatically declares is a "Rapture" Prophecy and absolutely not a Second Coming prophecy: "Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptable, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality! So, when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, THEN (at that time) shall be brought to pass the saying that is written DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY! O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory" (1Cor.15:51-55)! Dear Reader, can we read this from Paul and continue claiming that saved people will die after Jesus comes to take His people to Heaven?

Conclusion
The above Bible Prophecy from 1 Corinthians 15 is one of Pre-Trib's main proof Texts that there will be a Pre-Trib Rapture seven years before Christ's Second Coming.

Pre-Trib's Un-Answerable Question to Ponder
If the Coming of Jesus that Paul refers to is a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and Paul clearly prophesied, that this event marks the time when, "death is swallowed up in victory," this would mean that never again can any of God's people die. Pre-Trib teaches that, at least during the first portion of the Tribulation, some of God's people will die. Jesus prophesied that this dill definately occur. Prophesying about the early part of the Tribulation, which He referred to as, "the beginnings of sorrow" (Matt.24:8), Jesus said, "then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall KILL you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name sake" (Vs9). If Pre-Trib is correct; if Jesus comes, and when He comes, "Death is swallowed up in victory," for all of God's people, Pre-Trib faces an Un-Answered and an Un-Answerable Question to Ponder! If there is any doubt that some of God's people will die during the Tribulation, John had a vision that removes all doubt. The Bible clearly says that some will have been, "Beheaded" rather than worship Antichrist or receive his, "Mark" (see Rev.20:4). We simply cannot have it both ways. Either Paul was correct when he prophesied that death would never happen again for God's people, or he was incorrect. Of course Paul, and John, and Jesus were correct! Is not our choice as to what to believe pretty clear? Let's continue to pray that God's Spirit will be with us as we prepare for His Coming!

Thank You SO much, Dear Pastor, for your time and interest.
